
C’est nous le basket français
The statistics speak for themselves: the French basketball leagues (Betclic Elite, Elite 2, Espoirs Elite 1, Espoirs Elite 2) have become an essential stage for French basketball. To accompany the rebranding of these championships, a film and a social media campaign were developed by ELEF. The objective of this film: to become a symbol of French basketball culture.


The challenge
There are thousands of sports films released every day. To stand out and assert our difference, we had to create a production at the crossroads of cultures.



What we did
A creative, pop, epic, unifying, proud film—in short, a French film! A film that captures everything France channels in the way it plays and shares sport.
Shot in a studio we fully repainted in the main league’s signature blue, we layered in illustrations and dynamic editing over epic championship footage.
This mix of formats resulted in a one-of-a-kind sports film that opens up the game to new audiences and positions French basketball as a cultural emblem of France’s sporting excellence.
The outcome
With over 2 million views across all platforms, the film has successfully opened up basketball to new audiences.
Premiered to the press four days before its release on the Ligue Nationale de Basket’s social media channels, the film became the launching point for a full show and scenography orchestrated by Sport Plus Conseil during Game 2 of the 2025 Playoff Finals at the Adidas Arena.
