Build an image library worthy of Essendi’s standing
Essendi continues to develop its brand and visual assets. As part of the creation of a structured media library, Essendi once again partnered with ELEF to develop a distinctive, proprietary visual identity.

The challenge
A company’s image library can no longer rely on generic stock photography. It needs to reflect the reality of its operations while expressing a distinctive art direction and visual signature. Essendi’s particular challenge lies in operating international sites that never stop running, requiring imagery that captures both authenticity and constant activity.
What we did
We began by reviewing the Group’s different business functions and identifying where stronger visual representation was needed. Maintenance, refurbishment and infrastructure teams were notably underrepresented.
Through photo shoots in Paris, London, Madrid, Vienna, Varsow and Kraków, we worked closely alongside teams to understand both their roles and the environments they work in. Over the course of around ten days, we sought out the gestures, projects and personalities that could genuinely embody the Essendi brand.
Every image was carefully retouched to create a premium-quality image library designed to remain relevant and valuable for years to come.

The outcome
ELEF produced and retouched more than 300 images, adapting many of them across multiple formats. A distinctive photographic grain and warm, sunlit colour palette were applied throughout to reinforce Essendi’s visual ownership and differentiate its imagery from competitors. Essendi now has a coherent, proprietary visual library that gives the brand the autonomy to continue building its identity consistently.
